Ridgid tools are very strong, extremely durable and long lasting. You can't go wrong buying a Ridgid!
As a service tech in the HVAC industry I need quality tools. This flashlight is great. I've dropped this thing off ladders with no trouble. I mean don't do that on purpose but yeah the thing is durable. It spent its life in my work van being used multiple times a day on various calls. Never failed me not even an issue. I had this light for almost 9 years with the same Ridgid 18V battery, never failed me. I failed it when I lost it at a customers house, called back to the customer and well I guess it just "vanished". Most likely still working to this day. It was part of a 5 piece Ridgid kit that came with 2 batteries. The other battery still works perfectly to this day. So I bought this light again as a bare tool, picked up a 2 pack of NEW OEM Ridgid batteries and the 5 piece kit is back together again. I love Ridgid tools, they've proven themselves in near daily use and nearing 9 years of service.
