Critical Design Flaw
After 3 weeks of use the plastic join connecting the headband and ear piece broke near the swivel connection. There is a stress crack in the same place on the other side as well. After some googling, it looks like other people have had this same problem with Elite models of Turtle Beach headphones. The join between the band and earpiece is thin, soft plastic that is put under stress when worn. It cracks and eventually breaks. They do sound great. They're a little heavy, but comfortable.

The BEST $100 Gaming Headset you can get!
I'm not saying it's the best headset ever, but it is the best Gaming Headset/Headphone in that price range. Mic is clear, great noise reduction, and the cans have great treble, and the right amount of bass. Can't go wrong with these! Alot of gamers hate on Turtle Beach, but from my perspective given that these are the only ones I've ever owned, I really can't see why? If you're on the fence, just buy it! Little work done
The microphone Jack was loose causing it to go in and out. Took it apart and did some jerry rigging with a tiny screw driver to bend one of the contacts closer to the other to make a more solid connection. Also ordered a new mic it self as the other looked in pretty rough shape but it looked to be just normal wear and tear.
