Very happy my unit is fully working again.
Installed batteries, replaced old sensor and soon had all outdoor information. Only downside was the cost as it is twice what I paid for sensors for another brand. But, really like the La Crosse unit as it is somewhat unique and great to have fully working.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Worked fine but should not have had to replace
My original transmitter started to eat up batteries after it was less than a year old (a set would last 2-3 weeks) then it failed altogether. This should not have happened in little more than a year. I bought this new transmitter and so far it is working.. Have to wait to see how long the batteries last. Was pleased that at least I could get a new transmitter rather than having to throw everything away, but the transmitter alone cost nearly 50% of the original cost of the entire unit.(Just like car parts!)Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Well Built But....
We have had the La Crosse weather station for almost 3 years now and this is our third sensor. The first got rained/snowed on and died, the second was lost when it came off our RV somewhere on the road and this is our third. We are happy with the product and would give it 5 stars IF the sensor were water proof...or water resistant at least. Because it is neither, we are constantly needing to bring it inside during inclement weather. Fortunately, it's not expensive and we can replace it fairly easily. It works really well and is calibrated to be very accurate. We have checked it with several other monitors and find the results to be consistent with all of the more expensive sensors.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Should have pruchased long ago.
I have this weather station for a couple of years now, but never had a functioning remote. This remote connected just as directed and is giving me the data that I need to maintain the comfort level that I desire. This is great. I have it mounted on a tree about 200 feet from the inside receiver and it picks up the signal without any problem with extremely cold temps of -30 and below. I purchased the optional sensor weather cover to protect it from rain, snow or inclement weather conditions. Was easy to sync with my weather clock
