Good company, mediocre card.
I installed it in my Acer TC-885 desktop. It's not gaming desktop but with a new PSU everything went well, no issues there. So if it fits to a small ATX desktop like TC-885 it can fit anywhere. Mind you though, it occupies two slots so say bye bye to your pci express slot next to pci exp 16. It works well and cools down well and performs like a high-end graphic card for any PC game at 1080p(never tried on 1440p or 4K) with Ultimate details. When it comes to VR gaming however, the performance is mediocre. You need to set your details to medium or lower to get a good performance. Are the VR games still playable ? Absolutely! ...with their max details? No! Unfortunately the worst thing about this card is its noise level. When you do any other task other than serious gaming, the card is dead silent. But when you start Forza Horizon4 or something similar, you start hearing the terrible noise that can't be denied. So if you can live with that noise and VR gaming is not your priority, this card rocks for this price and never let you down and never gets overheated. If you're looking for a serious VR supporting card with low noise levels, look elsewhere. As for the company I bought this and returned, the whole process was hassle-free. Great bang for the buck
I bought an open box deal on mine, most likely because the original purchaser did not realize how big it is. I am fairly certain this card will be a tight fit in many store bought machines, or just won't fit at all. Plenty of room for it in my Mid ATX case. What a nightmare.
I try to upgrade from an RX580 to RX590. The card ran fine at 1st but then started to over he crashing my entire system I've tried everything I can think of to try to get the temperature is to go down I even put a extra fan and my case and that doesn't seem to help. XFX FATBOY Good or Bad ?
Have had it for about 2 weeks now and I can tell you without at least one case fan you guaranteed gonna blow it but don’t know why you’d not have any. This GPU is huge and gets very hot very fast but that’s really the only cons I have experienced. Gaming wise it’s a 8/10 great for the price !
