Strong and stable mount
I used the ball mount for my Helix 10 because of the weight of the unit. It appears to be very strong and should not have a problem supporting the head. Like this Ram Mount
I have 2 Humminbird Helix 9 s. The graph on the front is mounted on a Ram Mount and doesn't shake even in rough water. The graph on the dash is mounted on a Johnny Ray Mount and looks more like a paint shaker. I'm going to replace that piece of trash with this Ram Mount.
