  • Great value and sound as long as you temper your expectations

When it comes to studio monitors, 3.5" is a bit too compact to really reproduce all frequencies accurately, and so that should be understand when purchasing this set, or really any set of speakers of this size in this price range. That said, I find these monitors to be a step above the competition, in terms of overall fullness and fidelity. As a set of primary monitors for critical listening and mixing, I could not recommend these for the reasons mentioned above. As secondary set of monitors for getting different perspectives on a mix, satellites for a surround sound setup, or as multimedia speakers for someone who wants a significant upgrade from laptop speakers or whatever speakers Logitech is pushing these days, I would definitely recommend them. I personally got this particular set as a surround left and right for a 5.1 editing and preliminary mixing (before heading to a proper studio for final mixing) setup, and I've been very pleased with them for that purpose. They also seem to be relatively sturdy as far as build quality, so I wouldn't hesitate to pick up a used or refurbished set to get a good deal - in fact that's what I would suggest you look for first if you're interested in these monitors.

  • Great speakers for the price!

Even though it says "B-stock" I got a fully functional product that looks brand new. Everything included in the box. You get very clear and detailed sound from these speakers. Bass is there, tight and present. It's impressive the quality you get for the price. If you are willing the set aside 100 dollars more, consider taking a look at the eris 4.5, if my room and budget were a little bigger, I would've definitely gone for that one!

  • YES

From experience with a wide range of studio monitors: These are performing way above expectations - especially when considering the price and features. Good, safe investment.

  • Good value., good range, accurate, don't take up much room.

Good speakers for the money. I use them for editing music videos and they are a lot more comfortable than wearing headphones, yet I don't lose much detail with the speakers.

  • These are totally lit.

The Eris 3.5's absolutely floor it in terms of quality and clarity. I'm in love with them. I've done a lot of work with Yamaha H7's but can't justify the price point in this current economy for a bedroom studio, and these are absolutely comparable to the H5's. I use mogami speaker cables; the highs-mids are crystal clear and the bass is honestly quite generous. If I still worked in a music store, I'd be selling these all day long to people looking for an excellent yet affordable option. ~~~If you're looking through reviews to help make a decision, here's your sign.~~~

  • There good to buy sir-mam

Yea, I like them I'm a big Bose speaker fan but these are monitors good for recording sir-mam play good with my Samsung Galaxy note 9, work good on my PC etc; yea I recommend buy them even though I had to walk 10 miles to buy speaker wire because the red and black wire was to short to connect the speakers so; sir-mam

  • Great sound for what they are

These speakers have very good sound. Use a good equalizer and you will get the sound you want. They DO NOT have thumping bass.....you will need to add a subwoofer for that.

  • Powerful pleasant and compact

The active monitors (well one active one passive) are a great pair of for studio minded people. The adjustments on the back for hi frequencies and for low frequencies really do stand out depending on what your listening to, but they both pull the more pleasant of the upper and lower limits out. They are small enough to fit comfortably in any home studio. I would recommend them..

  • Great value

Great value. Shocked how good they sound for this price. What I like is the flat sound the Presonus Eris E3.5 has. Rugged looking with multiple ways to install although easy. Perfect for small home studio or home entertainment.
