I did not like assembling them The price was good The shipping was good They are heavy compared to other brands I love that the are very tough (260lbs with size 13 boots) I love that they have 2 steps at each level. Much easier (safer) when installing and removing additional sticks and gear.

Well worth the money for ease of use vs using screw in lags. Have not used other brands to compare but these work just fine for my use. Just be aware on smooth bark trees that the bottom of the climbing stick may move off the tree. I may just add another strap to the bottoms in certain situations.

Needs better quality straps and quality control.
The sticks are functional. Not great, but will work. The included straps are iffy at best. Cost me another $40 to get another set of more suitable straps that lesson injury or mishap potential. I had to go and make sure all fasteners were secure and tight after noticing two were very loose upon arrival. I feel after I made the required fastener tightening and strap purchase, they should work acceptable.

Awesome Sticks
I like a double step so my feet can be at the same level. These sticks are awesome and would buy a second set. I use a amsteel daisy chain instead of the buckle strap that with them. Each stick weighs 3 pounds.

Ghetto climbing sticks
What annoyed me with these sticks is that it requires three tools to put together. At least supply the Allen wrenches. Second they want the customer to install the strap module. Best way to avoid liability if it fails. This high speed named climbing sticks of course are made in Vietnam.

good sticks, worth the money. a step on both sides is better than offset steps
I like them. Easy to put on a tree, and if you get the versa-strap from tethrd its totally quiet. I have 4 of these sticks and i use one of those rubber bendy tie's to keep them together. All four together do weigh a little bit so if possible have your tree stand already in place before season starts if possible so that way there you only have to carry your sticks into the woods. Defintely worth getting. Didnt go with the new 20in sticks cause i like to be as high up in a tree as i can get.

For me, the best choice in climbing steps
Easily my favorite climbing steps - minimal assembly, lightweight, easy to install and quite secure when installed. What I like best is that they have steps on BOTH sides; if you've had to balance on a single step while securing a stand, you know what I mean. I have a lot of different climbing steps, but these are my go-to steps every time.
