Solid controller with more than one use.
This controller is so much more than just an Xbox controller. Sure it seamlessly integrates with your console and allows more fine tuning than anything short of a mouse and keyboard. It is also able to connect to any Bluetooth device that accepts controller input. (Phones, tablets, firestick, Windows 10, etc. etc.) From adjustable trigger depths, and stick tension, to d-pad choice and stick height, to paddle assignments and a shift button to double the amount of customization per button press. This is the best controller around. Plus, it is going to be compatible with the new series X. Great choice to buy. Glad I did.

So I haven’t used the controller yet but I it’ll be fine. Had a Elite 1 - Scuff and now Elite 2, I think the Elites hold up better, after 1 year with my scuff, it’s work, triggers are iffy, etc. this shipped so fast, came 2 days faster. I’ll be satisfied and the purchase process was easy!

Buy the two year warranty because you'll need it :)
I am so ******* angry that Microsoft continues to sell these controllers for such a high price tag when they last just long enough outside of the warranty period until the analog sticks start getting stick drift. I'm a huge fan of their controllers, and ESPECIALLY their Elite Series controller. I loved the first one, and of course had to buy the Series 2 controller, and everything about it was perfect for about 2 and a half months. And then the famed Microsoft drift hit hard, just out of normal use. It's making games nearly unplayable because the left stick starts to drift about 5-10 seconds after stopping it from drifting. This is absolutely unacceptable for a controller that's priced at $180. I'm hoping I'll be able to get some sort of replacement or fix because these controllers are well worth their price tag, only if their lifespan mirrored the cost. But 2 and a half months is an embarrassment and a disappointment. Read full review

Awesome controller
I picked this up a few days ago and I love it. I upgraded from the original elite. This one has fixed the rubber issue. It feels nice in the hand and buttons, sticks and triggers feel solid and precise. Paddles are repositioned, feels more natural for me. It's not for everyone, price is kinda high. If your a gamer you better get this.
