Good choice for middle priced binoculars buyers.
-Great binoculars for birding and hunting. -Sharp, bright images with great color. -Very good ergonomics and build quality. -Not too heavy for long hikes. -Neck strap is comfortable. -The only knock is the lens cap covers don't grip tight enough.

Love these binoculars.
I bought these to replace one of two other pairs which were quite heavy. One of our fellow birders had bought a pair. I was very impressed by both the lighter weight and especially the much brighter birds are through the binoculars than in my previous pair, particularly in this price range.

Awesome binoculars!
I bought 2 pairs of binoculars, the Vortex Diamondback 10x42 and the Monarch M5, out of the 2 I love them both, beautifully constructed and my opinion a more clear viewing experience on the Nikon Monarch M5. I plan on purchasing the Monarch M7, I guess, it's a slight upgrade.
