Item is very definitely not new. It has some minor structural damage, specifically the battery compartment being stuck and not opening properly, in addition to missing the expected wrist strap. One controller is also finnicky and would not turn on without the batteries being inserted in JUST the right way. If this is how the controllers come new, then they're terrible controllers from the start.
