Dimensions always makes high-quality needlework kits (embroidery, cross stitch, needlepoint). The Gold Collection Petite kits are the best for cross stitch: 18 count Aida cloth, this kit comes with pre-sorted threads, a needle, and color-coded instructions. All the buyer has to supply is the stitch frame (and if you’re as good at cross stitch as this kit is intended for, you already have embroidery hoops and/or stitch frames). I bought this kit as it reminded me of my house.
