Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole is an action-adventure game played on the wing, based on the concurrently released Warner Bros. feature film and the books by Kathryn Lasky. Gamers take the role of Shard, a young guardian owl whose mission is to discover the truth behind a powerful and secretive group known as the Pure Ones. Players guide Shard through a series of more than 20 missions that follow the storyline of the movie, flying through dangerous locations, exploring unknown areas, and engaging in mid-air combat, using powerful battle-claw attacks. Shard is sometimes joined by other allied characters, who will lend support in battle and will attack on command. A surprisingly fast paced and extremely fun game
I had heard of this game but never got around to playing it until recently and was very pleasantly surprised. The game has very good visuals and graphics for what it is. Good missions with varying tasks to complete and some enormous bonus areas to do other activities as well as free fly around 5 extremely big maps. If you're looking to just complete the game you can do it in about 4 hours, maybe less. But doing the extras and getting gold medals will keep you in it longer and somehow the speed at which everything is happening is so fast paced you don't get tired of it, few games can do this. A very good and fun game that I recommend to anyone who likes aerial combat games and the Guardians of Ga'Hoole series.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
