About this product

Product Information

My World, My Way turns the world of fairy tales on its ear, and puts a twist on traditional RPGs by telling the story of a princess who must embark on an epic journey to prove her worth to a handsome adventurer. Players take on the role of Princess Elise, a spoiled brat whose temper tantrums are forceful enough to literally alter the landscape around her. The Princess is accustomed to getting everything she wants, so when she decides she needs a boyfriend, she orders her father to throw a ball in her honor and invite every prince in the land. But when the young man of her choosing rebuffs her advances, Elise sets out on a quest to win his heart. Along the way she uses her "power of the pout" to not only change the environments around her, but also to weaken enemies, gain items, and complete quests given to her by villagers. Elise is joined on her journey by a cast of characters, including Nero, a warrior tasked with seeing that Elise fails, and Pinky the Slime, a creature that can mimic enemies to increase its own skills.

  • My World, My Way is a great and fun title

My World, My Way offers a very innovative experience. The game may seem suited for female audiences due to the game following the tale of a young princess, but at heart, My World, My Way is specifically for hardcore RPG fans. It is a must-play game for die-hard RPG fans. In the end, My World, My Way is a great and fun title. I recommended.

  • A Twist on RPGs

This game flips classic rpgs on there heads. The main heroin is a spoiled princess who in order to get the attention of a certain adventurer. Becomes a adventuring princess who wines to have things even battles go her way. A must try. It is a Early atlus game and if you know atlus you know it's gonna be interesting.

  • An Unknown Gem

A lesser known game and a sequel of sorts to "Master of the Monster Lair," My World My Way, has you playing the Role of Elise, a self-centered teen that begins her quest for the odd reason of earning a date from a boy the denied her. During her quest, She comes into her own, and matures, while staying true to herself. The setting is a spoof of RPG tropes, where every npc looks alike, and monsters live only to give the hero exp. Gameplay consists of several aspects, the main being turn-based combat, another being a "pout-system" where the heroine literally pouts the world to change to her liking, whether that be changing the terrain for new enemies, to increase drop rates, or even change the enemies level, its a unique spin on the classic rpg formula. The dialogue is charming and witty a good amount of the time as well, keeping things interesting as Elise ventures into the world. I loved this game to death from start to finish, and could barely put it down once I started it up. I wish it wasnt nearly as hard to find as it is, because I feel any fan of rpg's, especially rpg's that dont take themselves too seriously, should own this game. Lastly be careful when buying this game online though, there are sellers based out of country selling fake copies for a cheaper price, these copies will NOT work on a 3ds system properly, but will work just fine on a regular ds system.
