Nice Gigabit Switch With Low Power Consumption
I already bought a smaller (5-port) switch of this line. It works great and doesn't consume much power which is a factor for me. That's why I decided to buy another of these switches, this time 8-port box. They both can be powered from any USB power supply, using a mini-USB plug. I haven't had any problems with either one of the two switches. The plastic case is fine for this low power device as it doesn't heat up much. Of course, being a gigabit-capable device is a big plus.
