This makes it so easy and safer to lower the tailgate. I highly recommended it. If your tailgate drops fast and is heavy your going to love it too. Easy to install all you will need is an allen wrench and a wrench to turn the nut. the kit comes with a Torx wrench to remove the gate pin. Takes about 15 minutes.
