OEM best value!
I've always been one that chooses to use OEM manufactured parts for my vehicles. For instance for Ford I use Motorcraft, GM=AC Delco, Dodge=Mopar, etc. Especially on my 6.0 powerstroke engine, I choose the Motorcraft FD4616 fuel filter because one of the most expensive systems on a diesel is the fuel system, and do not want to take chances with an Aftermarket filter. And I was able to purchase this Motorcraft Filter for $20.00 less than I could from my local O'Reilly Auto. So I say don't gamble with the fuel system on your diesel.
