This processor works really well. It does have some cosmetic issues since it was a used product, but it works perfectly with a proper thermal pasting. I have it overclocked to about the performance of an i7 840qm, thus the performance of this product is amazing considering the low price. This product works great in my MSI gx640-260us laptop, and it was the perfect cheap upgrade from the i5 450m processor that was previously in it.
It's an excellent processor, quite competitive even with the new generation processors. I replaced one i7-720 with this one as the other one is going to an older laptop with i3, hoping that the i7 will improve the speed significantly
