"Tangled" Story is Old, Yet New
If you've seen this film, then you know that it is a hilarious retelling of the story of Rapunzel. You can tell that Disney is trying to get back to its roots with this film and by doing so they changed the original name of "Rapunzel" to "Tangled" to try to lure young boys and men into the theatres. Not by making movies focused solely on the bland handsome prince saves the princess story, instead, Disney is reinventing its classic fairytale stories and making them more interesting. This film reinvention may or may not appeal to young men, but it inspires some classic knockabout screwball comedy and an exciting, revolving escape sequence. The copy of Tangled I received was a well-camouflaged pirated version. The dvd worked well but the blu Ray was obviously burned, printed poorly, and froze a couple minutes in.
