Greatest Nature Photography Lens Canon Makes
The Canon 800mm f/5.6 is a big, heavy lens that takes a while to get used to. You will be rewarded with images that other people will be jealous of. It is tack sharp wide open and only gets better stopped down. The IS works great. The only drawbacks are the size and weight, a monopod is a must for extended shooting, a good tripod is strongly recommended. For capturing distant objects like wildlife, nothing else comes close. F/5.6 is not super fast, but it is fast enough for almost all needs.
