I have bought a couple of these little Nokias and they are ideal for my needs. I do not have much use for a mobile phone as I tend to have access to a landline or the internet at most times, but these phones suit me perfectly. They are simple to use, battery life is good, and they are small. The No you cannot really surf the net on them (WAP has always been a bad joke!) but that is not what a $20 mobile phone is for. They are for making phone calls and texting. And they do that job very well. I'd recommend this to anyone who wants an affordable and easy to use phone and is a light user of mobile comms. So I guess that rules out 90% of under 40 year olds. :)
The phone itself is small, fits perfectly in my hands. I like the way it looks but it collects finger prints like a fly to a web. I am very disappointed it has no memory card slot. I am also a little disappointed that once you turn on the phone the set up looks kind of dated. It works well, easy to text on, nice volume during calls. The ring tones are not that loud. I have yet to use the "radio" or "mp3 player" it was said to come with because honestly I can not seem to find the mp3 control. Well I most likely will only use this phone as a back up right now because its too simple for me. BUT if you are looking for a stylish looking simple functioning phone then this is the phone for you.
Bought a nokia 2720 for my daughters B-day. she is twelve, and it meets her needs well. good battery life. okay camera. video could be better , but after all it is a low end phone. all in all its not a bad phone. the main down-side with this phone is, no expandable memory. you are stuck with whats on the phone itself.so storing pictures, video,or even a large number of text messages will fill up the memory. to summerize my daughter has had this phone over a month. and she loves it.
Nokia makes some great phones, and this is a Very Nice little phone.Lightweight,Sturdy,Good Reception, and Features for a simply basic phone.Bluetooth,1.3 MP Camera,Nice Color Screen,FM Radio(non AT&T models),Good Speaker Volume,to name a few.Not a bad phone at all for the price with the features you recieve from it.
This review is coming from one of the most jaded cell phone buyers you'll ever meet. In other words, I'm hard to please because for the past couple of years I've been looking for a phone to replace my Razr V3 with similiar features and not a ridiculous price tag. After trying almost every basic Nokia phone released through T-Mobile's prepaid lineup which were(or are)all cheap junk for various reasons I finally met a phone that fits the bill. Through T-Mobile directly this phone retails for $39.99 as a prepaid package although any of these can be used with postpaid sim cards as well. You might be able to do a little better pricewise online as I did. Either way, this is a feature packed phone at a very reasonable cost.... PROS: Sleek appearance and solid build quality Excellent battery life Completely customizable Good call quality and holds a signal well 1.3 megapixel camera is very usable and takes good photos Crisp screen fonts and sharp color balance Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity, mobile internet, e-mail and a music player CONS: Dual-band only Glossy exterior is a smudge magnet No expandable memory for those of you who care about such things ....as I said when you take into account the cost of this phone you really can't go wrong. Nokia really got it right with this one. I would definitely recommend this phone as your main or secondary device and I think you'll be very pleased with it as I am!Read full review
the battery is excellent, lasts many days the phone is kinda slow but it does it's job!I bought it for my grandpa and he liked it,he liked the big numbers and screen's big numbers..it's a lot convenient for him!I would suggest it!and the value for money was very good!
Bought the phone for my wife. She says she loves the easy to use functions. Great phone fits in her purse reall y nice, Say she will buy this kind of phone again.
I bought this phone because I had good experience with Nokia in the past. I like the Flip Phone because the keyboard is protected in your pocket. It is slim and has a protective sheath which can be replaced. A couple of extras I liked are, missed calls show the time of call when you open the phone. It's better than having to go through the menu. The ringer has a new tone that sounds like the old style telephone. Its alerts you as e-mails come in. It is user friendly.
This is an old phone, and online manuals did not cover it, although the model number comes up as correct. The battery would not take a charge; likely due to age. Like me, it is now retired. David Smith

Of all the cell phones that I have used the Nokia 2720 has the features that I most value. The calendar, alarm, timer and stopwatch functions are easy to use and have none of the unnecessary complications that I’ve seen in other cell phones. I would still be using my Nokia 2720 today but for the fact that my carrier is no longer providing service for 2G devices.
