I purchased the magenta Motorola Razr V3 and I love the look and feel. It is a good size. Large keypad with great features. But I have a couple of complaints and they are biggies for me. #1) I am unable to see the screen if I am outside. Just glare. #2) (and this is the deal breaker for me) I didn't realize when I purchased it that I wasn't asking the right questions. Yes it has a camera, yes it supports mp3 files, but is lacking in memory. I Installed the motorola phone tools and was only able to transfer 2 songs and between that and the few pictures I have taken it seems that I am nearly out of memory. It didn't occur to me that 5 mb of memory wouldn't be enough. So either my product is defective, or I am out of memory because 5mb is not enough. Regardless, dissapointed because I love the phone, but I'll be returning it and trying either the Motorola W490 (5mb memory + a removable memory card with an additional 2 gig memory) or the MotoRazr V3i which also takes a memory card. So I guess it depends on your needs whether this phone will work for you. Good luck!Read full review
TYhe Razr v3 is a small thin reliable phone with good redeption and ease of use. I have used razers for a couple of years ansd they work well and hold up well... Mine have beeb dropped without breakage. the battery life is very good if your battery isn't too old. Its a nice sleek phone and a good buy for the money. The cons: no bells and whistles, no wifi, slow connection to internet (at leasst with mine), and typing text messages is a pain. Overall I like the relaibility but miss some of the features on newer more expensive models.
I decided to get the Razr V3 because I've had very good experiences with Motorola products in the past, and I wanted a mobile phone that was slimmer than my old phone, a Motorola Pebl. The interface is essentially the same as the Pebl's, which made it a lot easier to use. The Bluetooth also seems a lot faster on the Razr than the Pebl, which means any photos I take on my mobile phone can be easily uploaded to my computer. As for reception, the reception is fine. I haven't had any dropped calls or weird signal disruptions, which has been nice. That being said, the only real complaint I have with the Razr is that the keys leave an imprint on the screen. I'm thinking it has something to do with the way the keys lie against the screen when the phone is closed. It might behove you to get a screen protector of some sort if you don't want an imprint on your phone screen.Read full review
I have complain to the carrier AT&T, they keep saying something is wrong with your phone. Now I have giving up on the phone, can't use it on regular base. Tried a new battery from company (Batteries Plus) still cutting out the calls. No change. When I use the phone, it seams to get real warm after about 3-5 min, I don't know if that have something to do with that? Have to buy an other phone, I guess? Would like to have an Apple I-phone S4 or S5, but I can't afford $300 to 400 for even a used older one. Being on SS with a limit income. Thanks Stan

I have recently been a Bla*kberry user, but after I saw this Razor I missed the old days when I had one. This newer version is great, I love the phone it is so user friendly in my opinion. It has all i need: Texting, camera, internet access, access to bluetooth and also ability to get ringtones that are cool. I give this phone a double thumbs up, if you're thinking of getting, Like Nike says: Just Do It!
This phone has a lot of nifty features and takes great pictures. It has good sound quality. I bought a red one so I can find it in my handbag and that is great. Unfortunately, there are downsides to this phone -- the most important one is that it simply does not hold a charge for any reasonable length of time. I changed the battery 3 times. The seller even graciously sent me a new battery - to no avail. For example, after charging the phone overnight I had a 15 minute phone call. The phone started beeping during the call and I had to recharge it again. Also, the phone constantly has to be recharged after entering data. Bottom line, even though I love what this phone can do, the downtime for recharging makes it difficult to live with. I've had a Motorola RAZR V3 before (purchased directly from T-Mobile) and it was fantastic. Bottom line is although I love the various things this phone can do, it is simply not worth the constant down time for recharging.Read full review
I can honestly say this was one of the most trendiest phones to have back when smart phones weren't readily available yet. Every now and then I see someone with a RAZR, but they are most likely older folks. My mom really enjoys having a slim phone that is decently loud and is easy to type and see. It would have benefited her more if I bought her a RAZR sold by Tmobile, but I couldn't find a good one for under $50. Because Verizon solely has CDMA phones (doesn't take Sim cards) I couldn't better ones and Tmobile's network works okay on ATT's RAZR. In my opinion this phone is worth around or under $50 and no more because its a "feature" phone, and in today's mobile world, there are many better choices available. If you are looking to buy a phone for some older generation folks, this would be the perfect gift.Read full review
I LIKE THE DESIGN , FUNCTIONS ,EASE OF USER FRIENDLYNESS.I GOT TO CHOOSE FROM A VARIETY OF COLOURS .IT IS A DECENT CELL PHONE IF YOU DONT TEXT,I BROKE MY OLD ONE AND DIDNT WANT TO DEAL WITH CONTRACT RENEWELS THIS IS A PERFECT REPLACEMENT I ENJOY THE ORIGINAL OLD STYLE RAZOR .THEY SUPPLIED A CHARGER AND A HEAD SET.IT DID NOT HAVE MP3 AS THE ADD SUGGESTED BUT I DIDNT MIND BECAUSE I OWN THE I POD WICH WILL ALWAYS HAVE MORE MEMORY STORAGE BECAUSE ITS DESIGNED FOR MUSIC . THE RAZOR DOES HAVE INTERNET ACCESS AND LOTS OF COOL USES IN TOOLS .THE PICTURE TAKING QUALITY IS AVEREAGE FOR A CELL PHONE IM PLEASED WITH THIS PURCHASE.
Pros: It is a Quad Band phone and can be used in Germany, This is what I bought the phone for. I bought the Phone fairly cheaply. Cons: The phone seems to be very cheaply made. Very thin metal and plastic. The Battery Door is a slightly different color than the rest of the phone. The clock display on the front panel dosen't stay lit up, You have to open the Lid to see the Time. Extra Memory Can not be added to this Model of Phone. Most of the photos taken from a digital camera are to large to Import into this Phone. I can;t put any MP3S from my Computer on the phone because it dosen't have enough memory. The Phone I bought was supposed to be Slightly Used but I got a Refurbised Phone, The listing said nothing about the Phone being Refurbished.
Not a horrible phone. A few kinda-major problems: 1) My phone simply cuts out and turns off from time to time (several times/week) even though I have all bars of service and full battery life. 2) I had problems with charging it. It wouldn't charge from the USB port unless it was on, and so if you let your phone completely die before charging it, you cannot use the USB to charge it. The AC charger didn't work some times, and I had to play with the cord to get it to work. 3) The battery case doesn't hold shut well, and I expect to have to use tape soon :( 4) My phone has some other language for it's dictionary. It will not auto-complete words in the Text mode -- even though I have changed the default language to English (I guess it just doesn't have an English dictionary loaded?). I bought it on Ebay from a company that claims to be from the states. On the positive side, I like the sleek design, and the keys and menus are simple to use. I won't buy one again, but maybe I just got a lemon.Read full review
