Box was slightly damaged on arrival. Board looked OK, only visible damage was the key broken off the CPU fan header. No problem, the header was still usable. Didn't have a compatible I-5 CPU, but do have a compatible I-3, so installed that and updated the BIOS to the latest version. All working to this point. Removed the I-3 and installed my I-7 CPU that had been working for years in my old board until that board died. Worked, so updated Windows 10, letting that process go on overnight. Next morning turned on the 'puter and the fans spun up, but nothing else worked. Re-installed the I-3, again nothing worked. Kind of suspect the board died. Probably not worth trying to return for a refund. So now I'm saving money for a brand-new MB, CPU and RAM. Probably should have done that in the first place.Read full review

I ordered this motherboard only for older games, and for playing around with overclocking possibilities. So that I do not hinder my production machine. Its only downside is that it lacks usb3, and at least one pci card could be replaces with additional 1x pcie. It might even be good for home server since it does support 4 memory sticks, 6 sata ports and additional ide for that old dvd burners we all have somewhere. It is old technology so it should be a lot cheaper!

Up to about 4.275GHz (21x203) on 1.4 vcore MAX. 4 memory slots, even though it's a microATX size. Kingston KVR 1333HMz pretty basic, so running 2x4GB of GSkill @ about 1624HMz on 1.65v instead. May try an i5 or i7 next? Lynfield QVL up to 2133MHz DDR3. We shall see. Real happy so far with system. Thanks, good deal.

This board will go down in history as one of the best value oriented LGA 1156 boards ever. I'm typing this review using the P7H55-M PRO. 5+ years now, still going....running the original cpu I installed Dec 2010 the i5 760 at 3.5 Ghz 25% OC (stock 2.8Ghz) 16 Gigs DDR3 @1600 MSI R7 370. Recently ordered the MSI H170 A Gaming Pro LGA 1151(for $54,store return, damage to socket, replacing socket myself) hopefully half as good as this board. This board is highly recommended. Cheers...

I plan on this computer to stay on always so the issue with case fans powered on always is not an issue for my self. Also dose not work in slimline case with 2 slot graphic cards seen as they so silly to have put the PCIE card slot in the second slot not the first
