The battery showed around 50% charge when I first turned it on, which is where Li-Ion batteries are best stored to minimize deterioration from sitting. So far the battery has good capacity. I was really surprised at the quality of the phone. I purchased it for my son for his 10th B-Day & of course he loved it. He's been wanting an iphone forever, so the 5s was a perfect start. Its shown how it is great feel and ok battery life but some downsides is the home button makes a sound when you press it also some screen issues like tapping sometimes and the broken glass also its stuck on 12.5.5 but its useable and great at it's price!

I like the phone, Just that when I got it I couldn't update the OS which was version 7.0. I couldn't use any apps or download new ones. I also couldn't surf the web. My husband had to go on the computer and manually update it. Not a huge deal, but it would have been nice if the phone was fully functioning. I contacted the company from which I bought the phone and they just told me to contact Apple.
