the manual is very clear and easily available online. It's nice that it comes with a quick start guide that has you walk through an on-screen set-up process to balance the sound with a microphone. I had to do it with a projector since I don't own a TV, but it worked fine. The surround sound is good. My only issue is the bluetooth is difficult to pair after another device is paired. I have to take the device off, reboot the receiver, then pair another device in order for it to forget the last one. Even sometimes that takes a few tries. But I love it

I like every thing about the receiver, except it doesn't have a number pad on the remote so I can hit the radio station I want on the presets. Has excellent sound with my surround sound speakers. Easy enough to set up. I use a harmony remote for everything and the receiver responds great. I have had it two months with no problems so far.

It's not great a comparison between this and my Onkyo The Audyssey on my Onkyo gave a better sound after setup. but self tweaking on the equalizer on this Denon brings it back to similar sounds. And without breaking down as often as the Onkyo which only last me about 2 years.

Everything seems to work pretty well so far, and it is a decent little receiver. Keep in mind that the output is HDCP 2.2 and that it only has small connectors on the back, not banana plugs, which makes it more difficult to make good connections, especially with larger gauge wires.
