I was heating my shop with a portable propane space heater and a small electric 110V heater. It was a pain to hook up the tank outside and run the gas line thru the wall and the 110V heater just couldn't cut it on its own.Bought the Dimplex, ran a220V line and now it is all I need to heat the shop(12'x20').It is a rugged looking piece of equipment and comes with a multi use bracket for wall or ceiling mount. Its a little noisey but you don't go to your shop to watch T.V.(maybe to get away from your wife). All in all an inexpensive way to heat your work area.
It works fine, it performs as advertised. For the money, it provides heat and is easy enough to install. It is fairly noisy, as the heating element rattles when the fan is on. Other than that it is okay. Rattling is worse if the tilt positions are used.

So wasn't expecting a whole lot from this small heater, especially when I pulled it out of the box and saw how small it was. Thankfully, I was very pleasantly surprised! I used it this winter to heat one stall of my garage, which was insulated and partitioned off from the rest of the space with 4 mil plastic sheeting. It did great, even in 25 degree weather. In fact, it got so warm at times that I turned it off! Some other reviewers said it made a little noise, and mine makes a little rattle when starting up, but the buzz is gone within about 30 seconds, and it's rather quiet during operation. I recommend it! Great product for the money!
I bought one of these heaters years ago and it still works great! I recently bought another one and it works great as well. Thank You for the product and the excellent service.

Using in a 12 X 16 Shed currently not insulated. Warms up to where it is comfortable to work. Insulation slated for later this year. Fortunately shed was ordered new with an insulated floor and was built with radiant barrier materials. Next winter would like the shed above freezing so as to keep all liquids, spray cans stored there etc. Easy to run 20 amp 240 volt circuit to a dedicated 240v outlet. Fan makes noise for what a fan would most likely make for the diameter and speed it runs at.
