The Epson WorkForce 630 is a solid all-around printer! Its wifi works flawlessly (however, it is better to download the printer's driver from Epson's website rather than using the CD that comes with the actual printer because of updates). Trust me, this will save you a lot of time! As soon as the printer connected to my wifi network, the wireless printing has been an AMAZING experience!!! And though it says 15 ISO ppm (b&w), 7.2 ISO ppm (color) --- it's comfortably fast. It isn't like a laser printer (which it obviously is not), but it isn't enragingly slow either. A satisfactory speed overall. The scanning program works like a charm. It's an ease to use, it's wireless and the quality (dpi) is sweet! Though of course the higher the dpi the longer it'll take to scan --- I haven't tried the highest, but for about 400 dpi it took less than 2 minutes. Pretty impressive for a middle-class printer if you ask me. And if you're planning on scanning something to fine detail, just make sure you have the spare time on your hands (like maybe about 10 minutes). This printer holds a solid amount of paper (250 sheets) and the ADF (automatic document feeder) is nothin' but a sweet option to have! Also the control panel is button-based, not touch screen, which I do not mind. And to say the least, the buttons are more responsive and they feel solid when you press them. So nothing feels or is cheap about the control panel, which gives me great comfort. If you're looking for a decent printer to have around in the house, but decent enough to be able to do multiple functions, then get this one when you see it for a good price! Or any of its 630 series siblings --- the 633 and the 635. The 630 series is very reliable. I am so happy to have found a solid all-around printer!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hope this review really hits home for all of you who are reading it!Read full review
My previous printer was a Workforce 630 that lasted 10 yrs. It is quick, has a well laid out control panel and is quiet. It has been perfect for our needs. It is the first printer that I actually wore out. I got an error message telling me that the printer heads had reached their "service life". I tried an HP when I couldn't get another WF630 quick enough (BIG MISTAKE). I took it back and bought this one through EBAY. I am happily printing again!

This is the printer that I should have purchased years ago. Being that its wi-fi capable and easy to setup (I had a little issue being a Mac user but I won't hold that against it). The printer quality is very good and the speed is phenominal. I bought this printer to replace a photo printer and scanner that I purchased from Epson years earlier. Since I was not doing as much photography, I thought that this would be a good AIO. This is a great AIO. It does much more than I had hoped for. I am a Mac user and it was a little difficult to do the initial setup because it was designed to reach to the Apple servers for the needed updates. It did reach out but Apple did not comply. After trying different routes, I finally got the printer setup. In comparison to the Epson R800 Printer and the 2450 Scanner that I had, its good to have everything all together and working better. Now if I can just get it to work with my iPad2. ;-)Read full review
This is a great printer. I could install it & use it without any problems. It is head & shoulders over the lousy HP I fought with for the last 2 years.I have been using it since day one & it's been trouble free. There was a couple issues with the software program that HP never did resolve & the last time I contacted them (out of warrenty)they wanted me to pay a large fee to talk to some guy who probably wasn't going to fix it cause none of 3-4 others I talked to could fix it either. Will never buy another HP anything. The seller was a real nice lady & it also had a really good price compared to stores that sell this same unit. It was brand new, packed & had a warrenty with the unit. Well worth it.
Great value for under 100 bucks for a home unit that works great wirelessly! Speed may be an issue if you print alot of things daily, otherwise great system plus the copier/scanner are a great plus.
