Not the most sophisticated flash on earth but Fuji's TTL system is quite accurate as an on camera flash (or off via a ttl cord using canon pin configuration) flexible bounce good guide # and a good value at the price i paid ($169 USD). If you want to do serious flash work with multi units this may not be for you (an fuji has no system yet) It would be nice if it supported the ir focus assist but since the focus is done of the sensor which has an IR filter that won't work
Great flash for a fuji film mirrorless. Its light and compact to a degree. Compared to a dslr flash and it cycle almost instantly with a used unit. So new it might amazing. It will help so much as fujifilms mirrorless flash are pretty tiny. Really just tiny. This is about 10x that output.

Nice flash to fill in on sunny day or light small to medium room. Recycle time is function of battery "freshness" and drops sharply as batteries run low. Handy with Fuji X-E2S.

The Fujifilm EF-42 flash has proven to be an excellent Flash for general photography.

The flash doesn't work because though it had been advertised it as being in like new condition it was actually in a disgusting and poorly cared for condition. The flash has heavy corrosion in the battery chamber. The flash came with old batteries in the chamber. The outside of the flash was scratched and had A weird residue on it. I can not at this time provide a review of how the flash functions due to its poor condition.
