I do laptop / computer repairs locally for friends and family members. My brother inlay smacked his laptop hard enough to kill it's hard drive. This unit though used turned out to be a stellar performer. The owner had trouble believing it was the same machine he gave me to fix. It's very quite and fast. This is the first time I have used a pre owned unit to fix a machine. This because of the owners financial constraints as I am sure most people can relate to. This will help in this individuals job hunting effort and I was glad to do it. Each one help one should be today's mantra in these difficult times.
I got this drive a few weeks ago and I've been using it constantly without any problems. I even loaded the Win 7 RC1 OS on a D610 and reinstalled it a nc6000 (I'm awaiting an optical drive). The HP nc6000 and the Fujitsu MHV2040AT 40 GB ATA-100 Hard Drive is what I'm posting this on. The drive was reasonably priced and it came came quickly. It was well packaged and, as you can see, it works flawlessly. I couldn't be happier. Thanks
Great Hard Drive especially to run Windows XP. So far no issues have been given while installing operating system nor applications on top of it. The price by this point in an old type of hard drive I would have expected it to be a little less, but then again the older something gets the higher the price cause of supply and demand so I understand. In the case of supply and demand this hard drive was sold at a very reasonable price and works great.
i bought this hard used an seemed like it was new quiet smooth worked fine why buy new when you can buy used an saves money never bought a Fujitsu hard drive
purchased this hard drive for a laptop installed os, and worked very good. and i have been very satisfied ever since.
