I bought this replacement 4620 because our old one had a gummed-up printhead and I couldn't fix it. The 4620 does everything well, I just hope the printhead on this one don't get gummed up too - which is a weak point with this printer. I had $50 worth of ink cartridges that would only work on this printer as well, so that was another reason for buying a used one - to use up those ink cartridges. Fingers crossed!

The hp 4620 All-In-One Inkjet is a versatile printer. You can print, scan, fax and copy. You can easily setup the ability to print from your phone in just minutes. The print quality is excellent. Replacement ink is very affordable and the cost of the printer will not break the bank.

When my original printer of this model stopped working after 2 years, I had hoped that by buying a another new and refurbished model of the same kind would make things alright again. However, unfortunately, it wasn't. This refurbished printer had the same problem as my old one. Which was printing no black ink on clear, white paper despite the black ink being brand new and ready. I did all of its cleaning features including doing a print diagnostics page, align & clean printheads, and cleaning the printer. I also talked to HP support, who by the way did little to no help at all by telling me to do what I had already done. The only mistake I made was not getting my refund for it sooner than later. I take the blame for that. But to have something that was supposed to work in the first place and didn't wasn't my fault. There's no point in getting a warranty on this printer, because it might not work at all. Do yourselves a favor, don't buy this product. No matter if it's used, new, still in the package despite the box's appearance, or refurbished like the one I had bought. Just go get the latest model of HP printers in stores and stick to that instead.Read full review
Identical to my girlfriend's printed that finally konked out a couple weeks ago after 8-9 solid years of service. She has an older operating system on her iMac desktop and most of the new printers are not compatible. This solved her problem. I had to do the same thing with another HP model with my aging iMac a year ago....brand new printer that had never been opened. It works perfectly Finding cartridges for it is more problematic so I've gone to getting refills and they're fine but not quite as reliable.

Had a 4620 printer. Replaced it with another 4620 and cannot get it to print or scan. I registered with HP, followed the instructions and the result so far is nada, zilch and nothing. After 3 plus weeks I am still looking at the crappy thing. Or is it the operator? Help!!
