This board is a good piece of hardware, it has, however, two problems, related to HP designs: 1) The board access is complicated, a lot of flat cables go to it, if you are not careful you might damage those cables or another contacts. HP makes pretty external designs, but its Laptops internals are a mess. 2) In some machines the original CPU assembly makes it prone to overheating thus damaging the board in the long term (the CPU survives in most cases). To make things work better is a good idea to reassemble the CPU thermal contacts with a good thermal compound, make sure to have clean contacts and a fan in good condition.
Decent price MB for my old laptop to get it back running. I'm happy with it. Pros: Easy to install everything back on I needed and mount back in laptop. A Lot cheaper than buying a new system. (I got this laptop for free). Cons: old system board with old RAM.
