I had to order a $277 Heater Core from Nissan for my 2002 Frontier 2.4L RWD XE and I wasn't about to spend three bills on a Heater Core. I waited almost three years to do this job and man, I regret not doing sooner... It was a major pain to the swap but well worth it without pulling all of the dash. I was previously warned that the cheap ones leak from the seals and I should not buy anything on eBay when it came to Heater Core parts. This particular heater core arrived with a slight bend to it's overall shape, it didn not look square or perfectly straight, so that gave me second thoughts to begin with and since I already knew about the seals prematurely leaking, I needed to guarantee a solid job done, with this less expensive option than what the dealer offered. The bad - The threads on the heater core needed to be re-threaded to make sure the old screws would fit in. This had to be done before fitting the heater core inside the car, for obvious reasons. - Attaching the tubes required to use two screws already mounted on the heater core, prior to mating the surfaces and since I had tiny bit of RTV to help the seal do a good job covering leaks, it became very difficult to attach the tubes to the actual heater core without messing up the whole deal. - Threading some of the screws can be a painful task as they are very hard to reach and you are only using fingertip torque, so starting at least two screws before attaching tubes is very necessary The Good - The Price and the shipping $90 for everything (tubes and heater core) - These will work on your KA24DE or 4 Cyl NissanRead full review
