This is a good product for the money, but keep ...in mind that you do get what you pay for, so don't expect parts made of metal (except the blades) or real chrome, as you would get with a more expensive product. This is made almost entirely of plastic. Also, you can only do very basic things with this model: liquify, puree, blend, basic chopping, small amounts of meats, etc. Don't expect to do the fancy stuff with this. So far, I've only used it twice (once when making Indian butter chicken, which involved pureeing many ingredients including a cinnamon stick and 1/4 cup of cashew nuts and another time to make hummus). I was very pleased with its performance both times. When I put the curry sauce through a sieve, the only thing it caught were *very* tiny pieces of the cinnamon stick, everything else was pureed nicely. And the hummus came out the same way, very smooth and no chunks of garlic or chickpea whatsoever. Both dishes came out "restaurant quality." One thing though, it was VERY loud, but the motor seemed to be quite powerful. So I would say that if you only want to do "the basic stuff" with a food processor, this is a good one to consider. Why pay hundreds of dollars for features you won't use when you can pay less than $40 for this and still get a reasonably good product?

This is better than expected - processors of this ty...pe used to be so hard to clean. I primarily use it for ricing up cauliflower and broccoli, I have not used the shredding blade or tried anything other than those two things but that is exactly why I bought it. It does take up space in the pantry so make sure you have enough room. It has suction cups on the bottom and they hold it in place perfectly on the counter. Ebay price was very good compared to department stores that I looked in. I would recommend this!

I made Cranberry Orange relish with my new food processer... and it was SUPER easy! This usually takes hours when you use a blender and never gets even or small enough. But with the HB food processor, I put the cut up orange (with the peel) a bag of frozen cranberries, a cup of sweetner and 2 Tbsp. orange juice in the food processor, pulsed it 3 times and it was perfectly chopped. To clean , I just rinsed and drained the food processer. Can't wait to try some new recipes with it.

I like how it was easy to use and clean. Suction cup ...base holds machine still. Blades are easily changed. Clean up is a breeze. Powerful motor chops vegetables in a snap. Very pleased with the design and performance. A+++

I really like the build quality and look of the H...amilton Beach 10 cup food processor. I thought 10 cups would be too large, but it makes it easier to make salsa and hummus. Faster to add ingredients, quickly chopping everything and easy to clean. I used to have an Osteri 3 cup food processor and this would take me a while to make salsa because I would have to make two servings to properly use all my ingredients. But the 10 cup processor easily makes this amount in one go. Cleaning the 3 cup processor was a pain too. The 10 cup was really easy. I haven't had it long enough to know if this processor is actually well built or not. For now, it feels and runs very well after almost 2 months (2 batches of salsa, 1 batch of hummus, 1 batch of peanut butter).
