Current slide {CURRENT_SLIDE} of {TOTAL_SLIDES}- Best Selling in 3D Printers
This is a DIY (do it yourself) printer, so it comes in a box and you need to assemble it. I'm a Millwright for my job, so it wasn't difficult for me but if you haven't done much of this sort of thing, then this build could possibly be challenging. It was packaged well. The instructions are on the included SDcard. The only issue I had was with the x/z plastic fixtures. The holes that you need to slide the rails for the linear bearings through were a little too tight and caused me some trouble to get them through. You can download updated ones from Thingverse once you are able to get things printing. I'm impressed with the quality of the prints I was able to get once I learned how to tweak the settings properly. Don't let the price throw you off! It's capable of printing great quality pieces. There is a facebook group specifically for this printer that has been of great help to me. This is my first 3D printer, and I have no regrets.Read full review

This is a machine for the tinkerer. It prints quite well out of the box and I have had no problems with the reliability of the components. It's also a great learning tool. The instructions are quite good also. I enjoy using the machine and am finding the desire to move forward for a bigger machine with more capabilities. I'm a machine designer/builder by profession and building this printer was no problem. Currently I've designed parts for improvement and printed them with the machine I'm improving.

Printer arrived well packed. Assembly instructions were OK but unclear in some parts, and missed several opportunities to save trouble later during the assembly. That being said, if you've no trouble assembling ikea furniture you shouldn't have much issue here. I did have one part that didn't fit properly but was quickly taken care of with a drillbit. Once printer was setup and calibrated I printed the tests on the included SD card. It prints quite well and is reasonably quiet. Control board gets very hot however you can buy parts on eBay to fix this. All in all am very happy for the money I paid

This thing needs a lot of patience when building. If you've done IKEA before, it shouldn't be a problem. The instructions included could be more detailed though. Some materials are clearly not the best quality, but should still cause no problem. Overall, if you're a tinkerer and have decided to own a 3D printer for the first time, here's a good place to start. You get the parts, you build it and see how the machine works, and it's relatively cheap. You may end up upgrading/replacing some parts in the future, but the overall cost vs buying the others would be cheaper.

Took about 8 hours to assemble. Some more detail for motor wiring connection positioning would be helpful. Prints better than expected. Software package with printer needs to be updated to newer version. Easily downloaded. Overall quite pleased with this product.
