What a great movie. Just about non stop laughs and surprises. I know it is a dated movie meaning that folks that have a bit of age to them might enjoy it better simply because they are more familiar with the characters who at the very least lend a strong nostalgia to the awesome adventure/comedy theme. Watch out though. There are at least two DVD's out there. One has some special features that can only be very nice and welcome to a fan but the other has just the movie and the basic features such as scene selection and closed captions. Enjoy either one but if they are the same price make sure it is the one you want. They sometimes " like with me " copy paste the details of the more extensive DVD and sell the one without the features.
This a classic comedy movie that I remember from my college days. I bought it after I found out my favorite comedian Jonathan Winter has died. The movie at a younger age seemed more funny but I got into it as I watched it. It is a statement on greed and director Stanley Kramer was famous for his "theme" movies. The original release of this film was 185 minutes. The studio cut it way back for its release some featured stars are no longer featured like Buster Keaton in the final showing. A great movie with many classic scenes and timeless comedians and comedy actors. A superb dose of laughter for the sad!
Just a wonderful comedy with an all star cast of comedic actors all in their prime. The director of photography added a touch of pure magic with memorable shots of the pacific ocean and the "big W". This movie has stuck in my mind since I was a little kid and it's really nice to own a copy so that I can re-live the magic any time I want to. Jim Bachus is at his best and Jonathan Winters sparks his entire career with his role in this movie. Edie Adams in the peak of her beauty, and Spencer Tracy's swansong is a real masterpiece.
A slapstick comedy. An avalanche of cameo appearances with all the great personalities from the 1930's (The Three Stooges) up to the 1960's. Jack Benny, Jerry Lewis, Peter Falk, Buddy Hackett, Mickey Rooney, Ethyl Merman, on and on... everybody wanted to be in THIS flick at least for a few seconds. It's an archive of The Greats.

This is an old movie from the 60's that will leave you laughing. I also found it fun to try to identify all the famous people that had cameo roles, e.g. Jack Benny, Jimmy Durante, and the 3-stooges.
