I have this product and it has not caused me any regrets, at least so far. The item works extremely well, very easy to setup and use. The one drawback I have is that its power supply cord is a bit short (around 6 ft.), making it difficult to hang the unit in a high area. I like the unit high to maximize its signal strength since I use wireless component around the house. However, I stilll see the need for having extenders in place since, like most wireless products of these types, really do not cover the actual distances promised by the manufacturer. I give it an "A-".

I have Ac router from D Link and I order this one ...instead of this brand is more popular it don't have better range compare to my old D link router..compare to price of the same one new and quality is best but the main thing we need range is not quite impressive.

I purchased a refurbished Linksys EA6500 without knowing it was refurbished. When it arrived, I followed instructions, and the product never would recognize my system. I had to call Linksys and they tried to walk me through the procedures I had already followed and they came to the same conclusion that I had already came to. I had a defective unit. If I had bought a new product, it may have been ok, but I noticed that a lot of other people had the same problem with REFURBISHED unit. I purchased a Linksys EA7500 directly from Linksys and so far it appears to be a good unit.

It works as expected. It did not come with any instructions on how to reset password that kept it locked up from previous owner. Linksys tech support helped me. I kind of expected a "refurbished" product to be reset to factory default settings.
