I bought this for my Mac Mini, which I have hooked up to my TV. It works much better than having a separate mouse and keyboard if you have a home set-up in which your computer is hooked up to a big screen TV. I don't need to worry about signals interfering with each other or anything like that anymore. Set up is as easy as plugging the dongle into the computer and turning it on. It works instantly with no installation required. Which is good, if you plan on using it on Mac OS X do not expect any software support. None of the Logitech software for their devices will detect this. The fact it works so well out of the box means this is only a minor annoyance, but it means you cannot fine-tune the trackpad very much. Playing with the default mouse settings do not seem to make a big difference -- so if you feel the scroll speed is too fast, you can't really change that. If you want to turn off multitouch, you cannot. That isn't a deal breaker, in my mind, but it is an issue that you might need to consider if you don't plan to use this on a non-Windows machine. If you really want to fine-tune that sort of thing, you might consider looking at other keyboard/mice combos. However, software aside, this types well and the trackpad is pretty decent for a non-Apple trackpad. I have a cousin who has an older model of this line and he says the battery life is really long -- has had it for over a year and has only changed the batteries once and he and his wife use it everyday and rarely bother to turn it off when it's not in use. The battery life of this line is much better than you will find in other keyboards or mice. Read full review
