I bought this book in hopes of it helping me through the sadness I feel. I lost both my parents to cancer. My Dad was 65 and died in 1998 and my Mom was 69 and died in 2004. I feel they were both too young to die. It has taken me this long to finally grieve for my Mother. What I have read in the book, has been helpful. The author fully understands what a person goes through, since she herself has gone through it. Losing a parent. I have found it very helpful and would recommend to anyone who needs to somewhat understand how one feels after the death of a parent.
