I already have a Mirage 7.1 system at our vacation home, and although I used the OS 5 sats there, I bought the nanos for use with a 32 in. tv in my workshop. I just wanted very small speakers and I already had an old subwoofer to augment them, so I wasn’t concerned about their lack of bass frequency response. I knew what I would be getting and they sound great.

I like the design size and sound radius it can perform to. since I have a an off shaped front room and a L-shaped sofa and little room to set up a bookshelf. So these small sats are beauty for my 7.1 but make sure you have a receiver that can push a 7.1 set up nice. My main fronts are Polk RTI8, Polk 10'300 watt sub and polk center and my rears are mirage and love em. I was looking at bose but you will have to hook up the sub-woofer and spend hella money for almost the same quality and sound. plus I love the independent tweeter on these nanosats.
I bought these with the hope they would be good desk top speakers for near field listening. They sound ok at very low volumes, but distort quickly as you raise the volume or use the loudness button to increase bass.

I needed one more of these to complete my 7.1 system. This worked great.

These are great. Bose is garbage in comparison. Can't beat the Mirage speakers
