i am primarily pleased with the Whisper HZ850 after a couple weeks of use, with only minor complaints. It is lightweight, easy to use, very good sound quality, easy to initially setup pairing with a new device. It has an exotic, high-tech appearance, especially with the boom-mic which can be used in either the extended or compact positions. When extended, it offers higher sound quality, but I have not been on the listening end, so I don't know the difference. Battery life isn't as long as some others I've had, but it's not bad--a full charge says 5 hours of talk time. The tradeoff is that it re-charges ridiculously quickly. The minor criticisms I have are that when inserting into my ear, there is a "button" at the top of the device to initiate voice control, which almost always gets pushed during insertion. This is not a big deal, but a minor nuisance. The other might be my own fault, but I do not use the external loop over my ear--only the internal silicone thing. It gets a little uncomfortable after awhile, but I haven't yet experimented with the others that came in the package. I expect that one of them will probably fit my anatomy better. Lastly, that silicone piece makes the device a little awkward to stow in it's carrying case (if yours is included). You either need to re-position it every time, or remove it. In summary, this device is very good overall and I'm quite pleased. The "complaints" are only very minor. I would buy this again, and recommend to friends.Read full review

I had read pages of reviews on this particular model and bought this model due to the noise cancellation feature, sadly it doesn't work very well :( Also read lots of reviews stating that it would be painful to wear for an extended period of time... definitely true...I could wear my Motorola all day and forget I had it on...not this earpiece... I even attempted switching out the rubber earpiece cover from my Motorola and it still was painful to wear. would I purchase this again? No..... unfortunately I bought two of these.

Ok, I received this earpiece a few weeks ago. I have to say it is good. The sound quality is great, the battery life is also good. My only issue would be the size. I wore and used the Motorola Elite Silver I and II for years. It was very hard to change over but I reluctantly did. This is a comparable replacement but the only issue would be the size. Also, it does not give the caller name. Only the phone number.

I've used Motorola Bluetooth headsets for years. Many different models. Other brands I tried just didn't perform as well as Motorola. The Whisper is so far superior to any Bluetooth I've had. The level of technology, clarity, simplicity, and function makes this headset perfect. This is my 2nd Whisper. The first one lasted two years.

Motorola loves me. This is my third one. I tend to lose them or get them wet while washing my face or stepping into the the shower while they are still in my ear. I keep buying this model because the noise cancellation is exceptional. The most people hear is a low "mumble" in the background. I unit charges quickly using my Android phone charger. Talk time is published at five hours and it either exceed or meets that spec. What I also like is when I'm not talking, it sips power. I routinely go the entire day on a single charge. I tried two other ear pieces but this is my hands down favorite.
