Moto G5 plus - honest opinion Our family loves Motorola cellphones... especially the MotoG models. The Moto G3 is by far our favorite, but the Moto G5 plus is pretty nice too. Pros; Durable Corning Gorilla glass!!!... reason enough for Motorola loyality. High user friendliness factor. Excellent camera. Fingerprint sensor works great. Quality & value that exceeds the price. Memory expandable with up to a 128gb micro sd card (under $20 for a great quality Sandisk Ultra). Flashlight that activates quickly with two "chops" is handy. Cons; glued together :(.... but most newer phones are as well. We have three Moto G5 plus handsets - battery life excellent on one & so-so for the other two (but not terrible). Photo gallery is NOT user friendly (but alternatives can be downloaded). Camera lens glass protrudes from the back & VERY easily smudges (cleaning usually necessary before taking photos/vids) & is exposed to damage - protective case mandatory! Power button is a weak part - notably the spring behind it. Don't let the cons dissuade you from getting a Moto G5 plus... it's a really nice phone (& all phones have cons). The 64gb model also has double the ram of the 32gb model (4gb vs 2gb). Beware the Amazon variant!!! Much of the bloatware (a handful of pre-loaded Amazon related apps) can be disabled, but not the ad banner that constantly sucks up memory, processor speed & battery reserve. That ad banner is on a separate home screen however & you never need to look at it, so this isn't a deal breaker if you get a good deal. Read full review

This phone is high quality, especially for the price. Comes with many features which more expensive, newer smartphones have e.g. fingerprint sensor. Phone is unlocked and I bought mine brand new from Motorola. After over a year it ran great and I still encountered no issues. Phone may not run as smoothly as more expensive ones (if you're using Snapchat while running directions on Google maps and texting it will probably have an app crash). But the moderate user will find no issue with that. Camera works fine but will not produce high quality photos like an iphone. The phone is good, bit the price is what makes it great. Very affordable and you get the most bang for your buck. Don't pay $800 for a used iphone when you can get a Moto G for $200 brand new.

Motorola has always been a favorite, and you can't go wrong with a moto g5 plus. Great value, great phone. And it looks brand new. The fine gold color is amazing. Much more attractive than I had expected.
