The plugs into the solar charger itself and the camera were tough to insert. They had much tighter tolerances than the plug in chargers. The charger doesn’t operate at temps below freezing, but as soon as it senses the battery is warm enough it does charge. My Pro 2 camera hasn’t dropped below 95% power even after 3 days of temps in the low 30s/teens overnight and limited (if any) full sunshine. I wish the charger mount wasn’t so heavy, or that it worked w/ the Pro 2 magnetic bases.

The Panel itself performs well actually and keeps the cameras charged very well. In the winter with less sunlight of course the cameras lose some battery performance due to extreme cold etc. I am not sure if this is the software of the camera or some issue with connectivity but occasionally I will get a notice that the solar panel is not supported by arlo and is an off brand etc. This will persist for several days while the thing is NOT charging, then magically it will acknowledge it is an arlo branded product and work again. This has happened more than 5 times since I have owned it over the last year.

Please don’t purchase the knockoff solar panel. I have the Arlo and the knockoff. The knockoff is worthless and doesn’t charge the cameras as well as keeping it charged. This is my 2nd solar panel and I have has one up for over a month and it keeps on charging I haven’t had to take it down once. Great product. Will buy more

As long as it's above 32 degrees, and the Sun is hitting your solar panel your camera will charge. However if it's below 32 degrees the cameras will not charge, so the solar panel is useless in very cold climates. Also, the panel charges at a much slower rate then plugging the camera into a wall outlet. However the panel does charge when it's above 32 degrees and you have plenty of Sun. So I suspect my battery will not go dead, it will just take a long time before its 100% charged.

I bought this panel for one camera that I mounted fairly high up on a tree. Tired of changing the battery on this camera. Was a pain in the Keester. So far I had it up for a week and a half. Does a great job of keeping the battery charged. To be honest I wish I had purchased a wired camera system. I have had the Arlo system with five camera for almost a year and a half. Count as many times I've had to whip out the ladder to change batteries and I could have just ran a coax with a pair and be done with it. It does seem to do a great job though
