My Dell WiDi couldn't connect to it. It was inexpensive, so worth a try. I now stored in a box with all my other outdated, dead, or useless electronic devices. Ended up buying a quality 35 foot long HDMI cable to connect the Dell in m den to the living room Sony TV. It has a soft outer covering, so it lays flat against the floor wall board and goes around corners well. routed it under a hallway runner carpet and you barley notice it. Cost was $16 an has an excellent picture. Just plug it in to the Dell when needed.

only works with "CERTAIN" intel processors. Before you purchase this, type "intel" into your search box and see if 'intel wireless display' shows up. If your computer doesn't come with WIDI pre-installed this unit will not work. There are no drivers or software that can be downloaded to solve the problem either....you have it or you don't.
Happy with purchase

Bought this so I wouldn't have to use hdmi cables as much. It's great and displays my laptop screen well.
