Make sure your outlet has metal contacts on the sides (Not the screws but IN BETWEEN the screws) or it won't work. My GFI is brand new and doesn't have contacts so I had to bare the wire leads and run short wires to the load side of the outlet. If you don't know anything about electricity don't mess with it just return it. Now that it's working I like it but the sensor is not accurate and it stays on all the time. I will try shining a light directly on it to see if it turns the LEDs off. *The sensor works it just needs a lot of light to turn off the LEDs. They take hardly any electricity so I'm not worried about them staying on.

This is a good concept. The lights do as specified easy install. I would have looked them a little bit brighter but it's still not bad. Gets the job done and let's you have both outlets open. It would be nice if they had different configurations. Such as light switch dual outlet GFCI outlet that kind of thing. But overall I would still recommend.

The lights are very dim. The advertising is misleading making you think the led’s are actually brighter then they are and that it would light up the area.. Plastic is also thin. Wanted to add a photo but it doesn’t come out well.

The only thing these do is just let you know where an outlet is located in the dark. I installed these in my kitchen and it doesn't even light up 2 inches of the counter. The plug in night lights produce 10x more light than these.
