I got this keyboard for two reasons: 1, I thought it would go well with my Razer Taipan and 2, I simply needed a new keyboard. I was a bit wary, as for gaming I generally have a "mechanical or death" mindset, but I figured I'd give it a try. There are many things I like about this keyboard, although it was a bit of an adjustment from my mechanical keyboard before it. For one, the keys are slim chiclet style. This produces an end result of the keys being smooth and flat, without purchase for the fingers. It's not exactly bad, but for FPS's it is definitely an adjustment. I like how well this keyboard works with Razer Synapse. Customization options include everything from lighting gradients and fades to programmable keys. And speaking of lighting, the solid green keyboard looks awesome. The keyboard is just the right size, for me at least, although I could see it being too large for some. End result? This is a great, quality keyboard with smooth functions and nice features, but the non mechanical keys may take some getting used to.Read full review
My family is full of avid gamers. We are picky in our peripherals. I love Razer products and my family has had great luck with this brand in terms of reliability, features, and quality for more than 10 years. This Deathstalker keyboard is no different. It's a high quality keyboard with low profile keys and short travel time from key to key. The backlit lights make it a snap to check finger placement in any light (even in the dark). The accompanying Razer Synapse application makes it easy-peasy to set up the keyboard exactly how you like it. I broke my husband's prior very old keyboard (spilled water on it, oops!), but he is delighted with his new one. Thank you Razer! Jen

Meh. That is the best way to describe this keyboard. Razer Synapse is awful. DO NOT plug in this keyboard without first installing Synapse or you're in a world of frustration. Pros: Screen is great, functions are great, lighting is great, the macro recording feature is fantastic Cons: Synapse is awful, chiclet keys feel very dainty and not as tactile as I would like, build quality is very poor I'm sure you've read all these things before, I am not the first that has felt this way. I am just being honest about it.
It's all about those matching green lights. So cool in a dark environment. If you you own a Razer laptop (and you should!) it's a no-brainer. Quality is decent. A bit on the cheap side like most plastic peripherals but hey did I mention the matching green lights? Good stuff

This product looks brand new and works great. Better than I expected. Been looking for this keyboard exclusively. Probably worth more than the price. Really happy with my purchase.
