I've worked out to many a famous and many a different routines. This one has been my favorite since age 15. Rita is extremely knowledgable in what she is doing and her instruction is exceptional. She starts with a stretches, leg work, and arms with or without weights. She then goes into a great dance-style workout that is exhilirating and fun! After the high impact dancing she goes into slow dancing, then into the cool down. In my opinion it's the best dance workout I've seen. I also have Core Rhythms which I highly recommend, but I'd never give up my Rita for anything! If you prefer a dance more than a workout, like I do, then you'll love this routine in your collection.
Great work out video for beginners- the first part is a short warm up and toning,second is cardio. Steps are very easy to follow and fun. I lost 35 lbs in a heathy way using this work out. Am still using it now - work great as a way to work back into a excercise routine after being ill. Only one draw back Rita can get a bitt too chatty between sections so the fast forward button can be a huge help, lol.
This tape is a great work out. Not too strenuous of a workout but you know you have had a good one by the end. Will work up a sweat and will loose weight and tone up with it.
