If you are not a IT person or CCTV technician you will have a lot of trouble installing the system, to be able to view it remotely. The manual is written by someone, who obviously does not understand or write the English language very well, and uses the English language (words) very badly. The manual and the descriptions of the steps needed to view the dvr remotely are confusing, as to which user names or passwords are to be used....the machines info or your login info for the website, and the broken English in the user manual only makes it worse. The dvr produces a decent picture of the monitor, but I have no idea if that will translate to the remote view because, even after hours of trying to set up the remote view, it never worked. The only way I could get this to work would be to hire an IT guy to come and set it up. For a home CCTV system that should not be necessary. I will have to return the dvr to the seller.Read full review

Replacing an older DVR with newer technology. While the DVR functions well the instructions are poorly written and incomplete. I did call the helpline twice and they were able to walk me through the setup. If you have never installed one of these and are not technically savvy, you will need some help.
