The 8 inch Galaxy Tab A has exceeded my expectation for a $130 Android 5.02 tablet. I prefer Android phones / tablets due to operating system flexibility and expandable storage. The 4x3 format is ideal for my use. The single speaker is adequate for mp4 viewing. The battery life appears to be 8 hours without using the ultra battery savings option. The rear camera takes good quality inside photos until you use the digital zoom. With 125 of my normal apps loaded and operational there is 6Gb available device memory excluding the 64Gb micro sdxc card I have purchased. I have purchased 7, 8 and 10 inch android tablets in the last 3+ years and the Galaxy Tab A 8 is the best (thinnest, brightest and fastest) yet. The item was new and all listed package contents were in the box.

Tab A works well of course the bigger the SD card the better the tab will perform I installed a 64 GB SD card and it handles great I got 3 Tab A 2 for my kids one for me with screen protection and silicon case even for my self the tablet has long battery life and android software updates you can stream videos and install just about any game comes with free Microsoft office Apk installed and many other features required to surf the web over all truly recommend for the value and size charges fast. Recommend get protection case just incase you drop slip or fall also has head set feature for multi media sound very satisfied enjoyment hope this review helps.

The Samsung tablet looks good, with solid build. The screen resolution is also quite good; very readable. The WiFi signal is not as readily picked up as with some of my cell phones, so perhaps the antenna may not be great. The battery does not last as long as expected - requiring recharge within 1-2 days on decent useage. Overall a good buy.

Bought this tablet for my dad who mainly just does some Facebook, Messenger and Youtube. Works well and gets the job done, though it can become surprisingly slow sometimes if all 3 apps are open all at once. Gotta clear up that RAM and use the "Device Maintenance" button quite often to get it running smoothly again. Pros: - It may be on the cheaper end of the Samsung family, but it doesn't feel cheap at all. Built just as well as the other more expensive tablets. - Good screen quality, although a few apps (Facebook Marketplace especially) seem glitchy unless you're in Full Zoom mode. - Battery life is decent. Not extraordinary, but okay. Cons: - I thought there'd be enough RAM on this thing to be able to run Messenger, Facebook and Youtube at the same time, but not really. It becomes very slow and you gotta use the "Device Maintenance" widget to get it going again. - Battery life could be longer. All in all, it's a good tablet for basic usage, but don't expect too much either.Read full review

I think this is one of the best products I've ever invested in this is my second tablet Samsung has given me nothing but good products only reason why this is my second one is because I drop my first one on the concrete outside can't beat the price even the operating system Android has on its 7.0 is a very good stable system. Shipping was excellent didn't take that long about 3 days I believe. Everything was neatly packaged the product arrived in a timely manner wasn't banged-up too bad nothing was missing everything was there that was supposed to be I have nothing bad to say about the Samsung Galaxy 8 tablet except I think it needs a b a bigger screen size
