I only use scsi for my desktops, IDE ATA are long gone when scsi is roaring along at 10 to 15000 rpm forever ,file transfer is faster;I put mine in a harddrive cooler 3 small fans, fits bay in case for a trouble free long life. pci scsi adapther is used,for use with 1,2,3,4,harddrives.
Pro - These are very fast hard drives! Pro - Hot swap works perfectly! Cons - None yet but these haven't been in production long. I set up in RAID5, my concern is with the high speed 15K RPM that they might fail frequently. I purchased these because 2 drives came with my server and I wanted more of them to run RAID5.
