The biggest problem is you can't fill the sink with water using this product. If you like to shave and have water in the sink to rinse your blade do not buy. It also impedes water flow, even with all the holes in the lower portion of the unit. This would be an ok purchase at $5-$6. but at $11-$15 it is way overpriced for what you get. If you have a hair clog issue with your sink or tub, purchase the clog removal tool that looks like a long piece of plastic with teeth. It works with the stopper in place and costs under $2.00. I don't recommend this product.

We have them in 4 sinks and it stops so much hair from clogging the drain. Also bought a sink plug in case anyone might want to have standing water in the sink. We clean them every week from hair and about every 8 weeks in the dishwasher.

Easy way to keep bathroom sink drains clear. It's best to clean it frequently. This is my second drain protector by this manufacturer. This one is an improved and more attractive design over the first one. A tip for a deeper cleaning of this item is to soak it in water with small amount of bleach...get's it really clean.

These hair catchers work great. No more snaking hair blobs out of the drain. Shrooms need to be cleaned once a week.
