I was in 9th grade when the white album came out. Everyone just had to have it. Being not so affluent back then I had listen to other people's copies. So I was chomping at the bit to get my own copy. I wasn't disappointed. It was great. Now 50 years later and Giles Martin at the helm it's even better. I have a bootleg version of esher. So I couldn't wait to get a Giles Martin version. It's so much cleaner and more tolerable to listen to. Giles is amazing. I would definitely recommend rebuying the white album, I wish I could've afforded the one with the 5.1mix.

The sound is second to none, I have been listening to this incredible album since its release in 1968 , on every medium from Lp to 8 track tape to cassette and CD , this release by far allows my ears to hear percussion and extras I have not heard before. The unreleased tracks are an added reason to make this purchase.

So great to hear these tunes. The Esher demos, never meant to be a public product, gives an unusually candid view of the production process as songs are developed. It’s the white album “unplugged”, in 1968, before MTV! Excellent value at any price!

The 50th anniversary remix is incredible. I heard things I've never heard before. Probably my favorite Beatle album and I was truly blown away with the superior quality of the recording. The extra cd is a nice bonus as well.

Great Price, and Value. As a fan I was happy to see the original poster , only smaller included. Better product and priced than my first copy of the White album on cd.
